Locke was slumped in the sand after an exhausting day trying to gather as much food as he could for everyone. He knew about Jack and Sayid's plan to blow up the tents when the others came, and knowing they didn't ask Locke for his assistance bugged him. He felt as if he was being snubbed at one of the things he is good at, hunting. Sitting around feeling sorry for himself made Locke want to get involved even though Jack and the rest of them may not trust him. At the first glimpse of Jack or Sayid, Locke made sure that he would ask them if they needed any help with the plan. First thread any good or can you state improvements?

[[OOC: That's good! ]] Jack had been meaning to talk to Locke, he had come back after spending several days with the Others and not told anyone anything. Now they were practically at war with them John couldn't be trusted, Jack had no intention on letting him help but he did need to talk to him. If everything was going to go smoothly with this plan, he needed John out the way. Spotting him sitting on the edge of the beach, he walked over, not entirely sure what to say to him. He sat by the side of him, not saying anything for a moment or two, but then breaking the silence with "We're moving out. Everyone is going to the Radio Tower and I expect you to follow. No one is being left behind" Jack knew Locke didn't want off this island, and this is why he didn't mention it. Instead, he just wanted him away from the beach, then once they got far enough into the jungle, they could ditch Locke. There was no way Jack was actually going to take him to the radio tower, he would probably blow it up!

hehe thanks!!
Finally, Jack sits down next to Locke and he feels relieved that Jack may now want to start talking about plan and what happened when he was away. The was a silence over both of them and Locke felt quite uncomfortable in this situation. He was relieved when Jack broke the silence but was fuming with what he said. Obviously, Locke kept his emotion to himself and in a normal tone Locke replied,' Fine Jack, i understand, i spent a week with them and you can't trust me but when you spend weeks there everyone welcomes you with open arms...( a pause )' Now in a louder tone,' Let me in Jack please, i can help you, i can help everyone here, i know more about this place and them than any of you..please Jack'

Jack looked at him, when did he say he didn't trust him? Jack had only thought that, but never said it aloud. Locke was jumping to conclusions, lucky for him they were right. So instead of arguing Jack told him, in a quiet, calm voice "Locke, there is nothing you can do but follow the group"
Jack didn't want Locke to help out, and even if he did, what could he do? They had the shooters, Desmond and Charlie were taking care of the Looking Glass [which John didn't know about] and everyone else was going to the tower. So John could only follow them, nothing else left to do.

Louisa Shows up and offers her help as well. She didn't want to be left out. "I know you don't want to leave to island John, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't help others. People here have a right to a choice to go or to stay. I myself miss my home in California. So what do you say?"
