Jack found himself once again in the hatch, a place many member of the camp had now visited, and was a common place to come. Mainly because there was room full of food which people had not been use to for a month. The food was one of the good points about this place, there was also; a shower, ping pong table, record player, books, beds, and much more.
The only downside was; the button that had to be pushed every hundred and eight minutes. And now, Jack was on duty to make sure this button got pressed. Although he didn't know why, if this counter ran out he knew nothing would happen! But no one else saw that, they all believed that the world would blow up ... or something.
Jack's head turned to the hatch door, he had just heard it closed and the person who would be on hatch duty would be entering now. He had no idea who it was going to be, whoever had time really.

Jin was searching for food, and left Sun relaxing on the beach. He was reaching the hatch, he had never been in the hatch before and never really thought about it. It wasn't a crime to go inside, so he did. Jin smelled himself..it was a little dirty and his hair was oiley, so he heard there was a shower. He didn't want to be rude and ask for the shower but Sun practiced with him, and taught him all of the basic terms for the hatch. He could speak partial English now, but could understand it much better.
He reached the hatch, and he slowly came towards the opening. Jin breathed slowly, as he wondered what to expect inside. He creaked open the door, and found inside walls of metal and it had light indside. He wasn't going to talk or yell out hello, considering nobody spoke Korean, and he doesn't know whos down here. He walked in looking all of the sides of him. It seemed empty, but amazing. He had never seen anything like it, or atleast on this island.
He kept his eyes sharp and wide, and he reached and main part of the hatch. Noticing a figure there. Jack, was who it was. At first Jin was scared, he didn't know who that might be. He didn't want to scare Jack, so he just walked casually over to him, "Eh-Jack?" Jin knew how to say Jack from learning doctor over the past few weeks.

Jack saw Jin walk towards, he smiled and gave a small nod. This couldn't be his hatch buddy? Why would they send the guy who can barely speak English ... he could know what numbers to press. But then again, with the lack of people wanting to come in here and take a shift, maybe they had conned Jin into it.
"Hi Jin" Jack said with a smile "Anything I can help you with?" Jack tried to speak slowly, wanting him to be able to understand him the best he could. Maybe he was here to get Jack, Sun could be having some kind of pain and they wanted him to check it out. But he seemed calm, and Jin was the type of guy to panic in a situation like that.

Jin watched Jack approach with a smile. Jin smiled back. Jin hoped Jack wasn't surprised that he was here, but Jin wanted to find out a little about this place or atleast see what it looks like. Jin thought to himself of what to say. He understood exactly what Jack said, but he could hardly respond.
Jin moved his hands and was about to speak and paused. "No-no-....shower?" Jin asked as he looked wide eyed at Jack smiling. Jin hoped Jack would be okay with Jin using the shower. If Jack wouldn't let him, Jin would be fine with it, and try his best to let Jack know that he only wanted to see what the hatch was like.

"Oh!" Jack said sounding surprised. He had come to use the shower, this made more sense. "... Let me show you where it is" Jack got up from his seat at the computer and made his way to wards the kitchen. He went down the corridor as if he was going out, but turned left into a small room which had a shower, sink and mirror.
"Here you go" Jack said, standing out the way so Jin could see "Everything you need should be in here already" Jack had a quick check to make sure there was clean towels, which there was. Many people had used this shower already, Jack couldn't blame them, everyone at the beach needed one.

Jin watched Jack and smiled. He laughed a little, as he watched Jack move forward. Jin followed him towards the shower, Jin watched the shower and examined the room. He hasn't seen a shower in a very long time, nor a bathroom for that matter.
Jin bowed his head a little, and smiled, "Thank you..." Jin kept a wide smile and turned to the shower. He couldn't wait to get the sensational, easy ways and feelings inside a shower. It was much easier than using the waterfall in the caves, or the ocean.
Jin appreciated the kindness of Jack. Jin at first, thought it would be rude to burst in for a lousey shower, but everyone needed a shower. Jin was sure to use it rarley. Jin looked around and grabbed a towel, setting it up over the shower door. Jin knew that he could help if anything happened in the hatch. Jin wasn't someone to sit around and do nothing all day.

Jack walked back through to the room with the computer and took his seat once again. So this was it, he was going to be sitting here for at least 104 minutes on his own [by the looks of things]. That is, unless Jin chose to stay, but why would he?
Jack and Jin couldn't exactly have a proper conversation, and what else was there really to do? They would probably just sit here in silence, so maybe it was better off Jack was on his own. Time to gather his thoughts together, think about what is the next big thing to happen in camp. It seemed everyone had forgotten that they were waiting to be rescued, maybe Jack should come up with some kind of plan.
Nothing sprung to mind that hadn't already been tried, but he carried on thinking about it. Looking up at the counter, he saw there was only ninety six minutes until he would have to type in those four special numbers.

Jin felt the warmness of the shower, as he had never felt it in a long while. He was pretty clean, and all of the dirt from the jungle was off. He felt more refreashed than ever on this island, and wanted to offer Jack some help. Jin couldn't speak completely english, but enough to offer some help. If Jack could construct Jin on what to do, Jin would understand but not comprehend as well.
Jin thought of what to do as he left the shower. He dried off and got dressed. He was completely dry and felt better after the shower. Jin hoped to sugguest Sun come down here one time, it may help her relax. Jin then was set, and he walked over to Jack.
Jins eyes widened and he put his hand out, "Help?" Jins eyes were eager and he put his hand down to his pants. He watched Jack for a response, it would be kind to help Jack after how kind Jack was to him.

Jack was surprised at how well Jin was doing with his English, Sun was doing a good job of teaching him. And, although it was kind of Jin to offer, Jack didn't really need that much help. The company would be nice, but not when Jack couldn't speak Korean and at all and Jin could only just speak English.
But Jack didn't want to come across as rude, so he thought of something better ".. How about a game of ping pong?" Jack asked, making the action with his hand in an attempt to help Jin understand. "You know ... ping pong" He got up and pointed at the table.
Jack hadn't played since he was twelve years old, so he may start of a little rusty, but if Jin was up for it at least it would help pass the time.

Jin looked at Jack, and listened to him. Jin could just understand. Jack wanted to play something that Jin had never heard of. Jin smiled partialy and then smiled widely. He asked, "Game?" Jin looked at the ping-pong table. J
in examined it, and it looked familiar to him. He knew he probably didn't know how to play, but Jack would teach him. Jin guessed because of the button, Jack didn't need much help and had alot of minutes to kill before 108 minutes. Jin knew all of this because of what Sun taught him. "Uh-" Jin paused and nodded yes, and walked towards the ping-pong table.

Maybe this was going to be harder than Jack thought, he had guessed everyone had played ping pong before, but Jin didn't seem to sure. But Jack could try his best to teach him, he grabbed the paddles and threw one to Jin.
"Ready?" Jack asked, but before he gave Jin a chance to answer, Jack hit the ball across the table. It bounced once on his side then onto Jin's. From this shot Jack would be able to tell if he needed much teaching, hopefully he would be able to hit it back with no trouble.

Jin watched Jack, and then looked at the paddle. It looked similar to tennis, so he figured he would just pass the tiny white ball, with the paddle he has. Jin smiled and then looked serious and into the game, as the white ball bounced over to Jins side. Jin took his paddle, grasped it tight, and angled it to the right. The ball was on it's last bounce, before the paddle would pounce on it very hard.
Jin hit it back to Jack very well, and went over the low net onto Jacks side, making two bounces before getting very low enough for Jack to hit, and about to fall off the table! At first Jin was worried he did it wrong, but it went over the net, onto Jacks side, he must have done it right.

Jack expected Jin to miss it, but to his surprise the ball came back to him. Caught a little of guard he made a move for the ball, hitting it back to Jin and quickly saying "That's it, you got it" Although, he may have spoke to soon, as this time his shot was a little harder to return.
It wasn't intentional, but Jack was so used to making the ball hard to return it came almost naturally to him. After all, when in a match you don't want to make it easy for your opponent. Next shot however, he planned on hitting a little softer and make it easy for Jin to return.

Jin appreciated what Jack said, but paid no attention to him, keeping his eyes where ever the ball was going. Jin was competitive and active. He was great at paying attention to things, and get into the game pretty easily.
Jin noticed Jacks hit was hard, and Jack was good at this game. Even though Jack was off guard from Jins shot, he got it. Jin knew he was doing well, and he tried to do the same as last time, and angled his paddle to the right. He hit the ping pong ball on it's second bounce, making it go quickly across to Jack.

After a few minutes of playing the ball went flying off the table, and to his surprise, it was Jack who had miss-hit it. He gave a small laugh, and started to walk over to where the ball had landed. "You're good" Jack said, bending down to pick it up "You played before Jin?"
Jack picked up the ball and walked back to the table, maybe this time he wouldn't go too easy on him. His serve was good this time, much harder than before, he concentrated more as well, making sure he kept his eyes on the ball at all times.

Jin licked his bottom lip, and smiled. "Heh, No." Jin shook his head smiling, and noticed the ping-pong ball flung off the table with Jack missing. Jin fled over to catch the next hit. Jin was looking steady at the ball, as soon as he blinked the ball had bounced twice onto the table, and it would be too low to hit again. Jin attempted, but hit it to soft and it did not go over the net.
Jin looked up at Jack, wondering if he did it right. Jin concluded it would have to go over the net. Then he laughed, he didn't know what to say. He shrugged and got ready for the next hit.

Jack watched the ball hit the net, seeing that Jin hadn't played and knew now that is was just beginners luck. This time he left the ball, thinking it would be alright for Jin to try and serve. He moved his hand as if to say "you take it" He would say something, but he knew Jin was still learning English, so maybe it would be better not to. [[Sorry such a short one ]]

Jin reached out to take the ball, slighlty embarrased of his short pass. Jin took his paddle, and angled it the same way, but this time hit it harder, and kept his eyes on the ball. The ball bounced over the net onto Jacks side again, bouncing up and down.
Jins eyes followed the ball, and kept his paddle up and his other arm reached out, and would put it behind him after the ball came to his side.
[It's okay, we aren't talking much so there isn't alot you can say. Sorry mine are short too ;D]

After playing for around half and hour Jin had gotten much better. The two of them we standing further away from the table and the ball was being sent either side at great speeds. It was strange how well he had picked up the sport.
Loosing the next point, Jack placed his paddle on the table and looked down, catching his breath. You wouldn't think it but table tennis was a hard sport. He looked at Jin and asked "Drink?"
Jack moved over to the cupboards and brought out two glasses, he filled one with water and drank nearly the whole glass in one. He then looked back to Jin, hoping he had understood his question.

Jin caught his breath, and smiled. This game took alot out of you, and you had to be quick to follow along with it. Jin didn't know he would go this long, and be that well. Jin stared up at Jack, and Jin made a sign and put his hands to his mouth and pretended to drink. Jin made a face asking if that was right, and watched Jack take glasses out. He filled them with water, Jin knew it was drinks, so he came forward and took a glass. It was refreashing and cool. He had eight sips before catching his breath again.
Jin had a nice bond with Jack, and they got along. It was nice to be in a hatch with things that gave you something to do.
