Jack had made his way down to Sun's Garden and laid on his back, closing his eyes for a moment or two and just enjoyed the peacefulness. There had been a lot going on lately and Jack wanted some time to himself, and he knew no one would be at the garden, so this would be the perfect place. He sighed, thinking about all that had happened over the last few says. Everyone had come to him for answers and he didn't have any, people saw him as a leader but Jack didn't think he was doing a good job so far. Jack had to try think of a way to keep everyone happy. No one trusted Juliet, which he knew wouldn't be easy to sort out, but if he could just show them that she was a good person then maybe they would begin to trust her. He hadn't expected them to all get along like best friends, but he hadn't expected things to be this bad either. Then was a noise from behind him, he quickly sat up and opened his eyes. Someone was coming straight towards him, without panicking and thinking it was one of the others, he just sat there, staring at the direction where the noise was coming from. [[Sawyer ]]

As Jack Shepherd contemplated the situation regarding Juliet, another oft-maligned castaway strolled onto the scene, sporting somewhat ragged jeans, a button-up black shirt and his trademark Southern smirk. In one hand he carried a water bottle with the D.H.A.R.M.A octagon so proudly displayed on it. James Ford, most often referred to as 'Sawyer', paused in his stroll as he passed the Korean woman's garden, occupied by someone who was definitely not Korean.
"Well look, it's the 'doc," Sawyer acknowledged, as he leaned against a rather large tree that sometimes offered shade to the plants that were being cultivated here in this jungle soil. Sawyer hadn't really been doing anythin' of any great importance, one who specialized in this sort've lingo could have called it a 'perimeter sweep.' He sure as hell wasn't about to let those bastards waltz in and take the beach by surprise.. Of course, Jack's new girlfriend probably wouldn't be surprised.
"Does Sunshine know you're in here with her precious plants?" he asked, curious because he'd never seen anyone in Sun's garden without Sun herself being present. Sawyer was also surprised that Juliet wasn't following Jack around like she was attached to him. "If so, what's up,' Doc?"

Jack's peace and quiet was soon disturbed my none other than Sawyer. This was one of the only people Jack didn't get on with, he had tired to but Sawyer chose to keep himself out the group and make everyone hate him.
"What happened to no nick-names?" Hurley had told Jack about how he had kicked Sawyer's ass at table tennis. Due to him loosing, he wasn't allowed to use nick-names. Not that it bothered Jack too much, but a bet is a bet.
"Nothings up" Jack lied, not wanting to discuss what was on his mind with Sawyer. If he wanted sarcastic answers then yes, he would tell Sawyer. "What are you doing out here?" Jack asked. He found it weird that Sawyer would come out to Sun's garden, normally he would just sit by his tent all day reading.
